''Donacaula sordidellus'' is a moth in the Crambidae family. It was described by Zincken in 1821. It is found in North America, where it has been recorded from Florida, Louisiana, Mississippi, Nebraska, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, North Dakota, South Carolina and Texas. The length of the forewings is 25–45 mm. The forewings are light brown, irrorated with dark brown. The hindwings are yellowish white at the base, in males turning light brown or yellowish grey toward the outer margin.〔(Martinez E.L., 2010.
